To a Beautiful Woman

I have followed Benizar Bhutto's journey since seeing her interviewed on 60 Minutes in the 1980's. Of course I was immediately struck by her physical beauty - which led me to want to know more about her.
As the years went by, I would notice her assent to the highest position in Pakistan and subsequent fall from grace. Each new chapter in her life seemed to peel away the physical and reveal more of the powerful spirit which inhabited her. Her final (as it turns out) act of incredible bravery in returning to the dangers of her own country solidified in my mind that this lady was made of what is best in the human-kind.
Reading the posts from others on this web site gives me comfort knowing that I am not alone in feeling so sad about her assassination. I hope her family as well as the entire population of Pakistan knows there are many, many people around the world watching, hoping and praying her death that her legacy lives on in them. I send my best to you all.
